- Statements of despair: "I'm no good
or "I don't care anymore."
- Feelings of worthlessness.
- Pulling away from other people
- Neglect of appearance or health.
- Difficult Concentrating
- Changes in school performance and
attendance; dropping out of activities,
cutting classes, getting lower grades,
not completing assignments.
- Irritable or restless
- Hurting oneself: cutting, scratching,
burning.
- Unusual weight loss or gain.
- Using drugs or alcohol.
- Taking unnecessary risks.
